Answer summary
Individuals on a Thailand DTV and with expired UAE residency face challenges in maintaining a bank account in the UAE. Solutions suggested by the community include opening a bank account in their home country and utilizing digital banking services like Revolut or Wise. It's emphasized that a valid residency is typically required to maintain an active bank account in the UAE.

Your best options are to open an account in your home country and use Revolut or Wise as a digital online bank.
