Hi everyone. If I show crypto funds will this count. Second question will cash funds in a Revolut suffice

Cheers have a great day
Answer summary
In response to the questions about the acceptability of crypto funds and cash in a Revolut account for Thai visa applications, the consensus from the comments suggests that crypto funds are generally not accepted. Most embassy representatives prefer proof of funds in the form of bank statements from recognized financial institutions. While some users mention that Revolut can be acceptable for showing funds, there are warnings about its status as a bank in Thailand and its reliability when dealing with cryptocurrencies. Overall, for visa applications like the DTV visa, it's essential to present financial proof in fiat currency rather than crypto or non-traditional financial institutions.

take out a crypto loan in dollars, thrn sell that back for the original asset after approval. Pretty much instant and not an insane cost in fees/APR. But the particular embassy you apply at may be interested in seeing ongoing work projects if applying as workcation. I am curious how many people applied and were approved solely on crypto trading incomes.

no need just get the Thailand Privilege card for 20k USD use Siam Legal as GSSA they will assist you in application and transfer of funds.

No problem, some people on here want to help, others don't. When Thai Immigration ask for proof of funds, they want a personal bank statement from the last 3-6 months of the apply date to prove the required amount, this goes for the retirement visa, dtv visa, marriage visa, and all of the tourist specific visas. Crypro wallets don't count unfortunately, because the government can't spend it inside the country.

Yes,any bank that can download bank statement from the app, ie proof of balence, and it shows proof of the required funds in fiat currency is enough for Thai Immigration on the cash balance part. There are actually far easier and better countries in my opinion for business nearby, although again it depends on what reason you would like to enter Thailand.

Got ya. I’ve been

Mainly using Revolut because of how easy it is to transfer over crypto to cash, my other wallets i hardly use or check. Bit annoying that I’ve gotta transfer it across for a few months even though it’s already there in the form of another asset. The grey area which is why I messaged on here is about whether Revolut is considered as a verified bank I reside in the Algarve and have Irish nationality but someone did reply saying it’s good to go so let’s see

Most 6 digit crypto traders buy the elite privilege visa they don't go for bagpacker visas.

Anonymous participant 878 You aren't special with an elite Priv card, your still gonna have your passport in the same 90 day report line as everyone else. Go and message your Nigerian prince for another 6 figures

@Conor *******
you don't need to stand in line to do 90 day reports genius the Thailand Elite services do that for you, and 90 day reports can be done online from second report onwards, they also assist you in opening a Thai bank account, getting a driving licence.You just told me you are a broke without even telling me

Anonymous participant 878 I'd rather freedom and wealth at the same time. If you don't submit a 90 day report, your passport will be prohibiting from leaving until you pay a fine, cool buddy even if you do have cash, your living in Thailand and have to report to the Government like a convict, you sound like a free individual
