TLDR : Answer Summary
DTV holders in Thailand typically use various methods for managing their payments. Many recommend using services like Wise for sending money to Thai bank accounts due to lower fees compared to Revolut. Some users suggest transferring funds to a trusted Thai individual for cash withdrawals to avoid costly ATM fees. Others mention using services like Xe and Remitly based on favorable rates. For cash withdrawals, it is advisable to take out larger amounts (20,000-30,000 baht) to minimize fees and make payments using cards when possible. Additionally, paying landlords can be done via bank transfer, and credit cards can be used for utility bills.

I have both, wise is cheaper to send than Revolut to Thai bank account.

Find a Thai that you are close to who you can send wise to and they will give you cash. I have done this after getting tired of the ATM cost and until I got a bank account. I did this for one year with no issue.

Take out maximum amount (20,000-30,000 baht) from the ATM and also pay with cards if possible to reduce fees (and also your time to visit an ATM too).

For paying your landlord you can just wire transfer into their bank account.

Electric bills can be paid by credit card.

Wise, Xe, and Remitly. It depends on the best rate and transfer lead times.
