I am from the UK and have changed schools and my old Non B Visa and work permit was cancelled so I'm on a covid extension visa now until March 30th until I get all my paperwork for my new school ready.. Can I just exit the country on March 30th and do a quick 1 night trip to Cambodia or somewhere close and come back in on a tourist visa of 30 days and then go to Chaengwattana to apply for my new non b visa ?... Or do I need to get a 60 day tourist visa before I come back in to apply at chaengwattana? Thnaks for any tps and advice ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, currently holding a Covid extension visa, seeks advice on exiting Thailand for a brief trip to Cambodia and returning on a tourist visa to apply for a Non-B visa at Chaengwattana. Comments suggest discussing options with the new school and local immigration authorities for the best approach.
Alternative, let the school prepare the documents and apply for the Non Immigrant B visa while abroad.
