Has anyone stuck outside of Thailand tried getting a replacement debit card from Kasikornbank sent overseas? If so, how did you activate it outside the country?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Getting a replacement debit card from Kasikornbank while outside Thailand appears to be extremely challenging, with most users indicating it is unlikely or impossible. Generally, banks require a personal visit to a branch in Thailand, often necessitating the presentation of a passport. Some users suggested using online banking, but concerns remain that Thai banks may not send cards overseas, especially to non-citizens. A few alternative ideas, such as sending someone to retrieve the card on the individual's behalf, were mentioned but not widely endorsed.
They told me I cannot. My card has expired and impossible to update the app so my money is stuck there.

Maybe you can try to see if it would be possible to send someone on your behalf with a letter of attorney empowering the said person to obtain a replacement and then send it to wherever you are.

Although my UK bank is happy to send me a replacement debit card to Thailand there is no way that will happen the other way around with Thai Banks.

Impossible! I had the same thing happen to me April 2020. I called SCB bank and they froze my acct until I got back in January this year. They said I had to come in person with my passport. They will not send through the mail.
For everything. They wanted to make sure that nobody could use that account if they found the card.

I couldn’t even get a Bangkok bank card replaced at Bangkok bank (Phuket)said I gotta go to branch in Bangkok. No way you getting one from another country
No chance of getting a card while you're outside Thailand. It's a monumental process getting one whilst you're in the country:- personal appearance at your bank branch with passport in hand!

You must present your passport to then in person to get a new card. You can not do that from overseas.

It aint gonna happen. They wont send it overseas unless you're a Thai Citizen.

Can’t see how that’s going to happen. Generally if you lose a card you visit your home branch to get a new one. Perhaps you may get away with a different branch within Thailand but doubtful. Absolutely no way I see them mailing one to you. Possibly not impossible, but certainly improbable.
