hello everyone, i'm trying to figure out with the owner of my apartmert about the tm30 report. She says is better to go directly to immigration and she has already asked for my documents today. But I tried to explain to her that there is an online option, which would work way better for me (I travel out of Thailand about 2 times a month). Then she said she needs to upload the documents in a size less than 1 MB, which i think is impossible.

I think I've read some people here that has been able to register and report without needing to upload any document online. Anyone can share the experience with me please? I will share the info with the owner because she says that even for Thai people is very confusing.

Thanks a lot

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is seeking advice on the TM30 report process, expressing concern about their landlord's preference to visit the Immigration Office rather than utilize the online registration option. They highlight the challenge of document upload size limits and seek clarification from the community regarding online registration experiences without needing to upload physical documents.

She took your documents and she says it it easier for her to visit Immigration Office. I not understand why you want her to change the way of working. Let her do it her way.

She never mentioned it was easy, is just she didn't know there was an online option and nobody told her about that at imigration office. Now she will try to do it online because for her is easy too.

Anyway is clear now. you may proceed to close the post. Thanks

@Tamas ******
, thank you very much for your help. I've read this before but i wasn't sure if i have to submit all my documents as well. My landlord was asking for these so i got confused about it.

You have to upload documents for sure: blue book and thai ID of owner. It is possible, I do not see any problem with it. My landlord has just done it recently without any fuss.

that is if you are going to do the TM.30 in person.

if she wants to do offline via post, then yes, you need to give photocopies of certain things such as passport and TM6.

registering TM30 online, to get the username and password has nothing to do with tenant. Only landord/owner details needed. Once it's done and owner gives you the login details (or she can do herself/himself), it's 1 minute to fill in the data (e.g. passport number and TM6 form number) and nothing has to be uploaded as picture.
