I live in BKK and go to Changwatthana and did an online 90 day report today, which was approved despite my landlord never having filed a TM30. Thought I'd let you guys know.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster (OP) successfully completed an online 90-day immigration report in Thailand despite their landlord not filing a TM30, which traditionally is required. This update sparked a discussion among users about the current enforcement of the TM30 requirement and experiences with online submissions. Several comments shared personal experiences, debunking the necessity of the TM30 for successful report approvals, although others detailed issues encountered, such as rejected submissions linked to missing information. Overall, the conversation reflects evolving practices in Thailand's immigration process for expats.

and was your 90 day report approved? OR did it just go to a "pending" status
@Ma**
? You said you did it today, and they aren't instantly approved.

No it was approved, took about 8 hours.

@Ma**
cheers for the update - I'm in the same situation as you (CW / no current TM30). Just submitted my 90 day report on line this morning. Pleased to hear yours was approved, and done so quickly! I'd pretty much resigned myself to a CW trip next week to do both the TM30 and 90 day report. Fingers crossed!

@T**
went through fine yesterday - filled in every single field this time.

I travel quite a bit and can only assume that the hotels I've staying at are doing the TM30 report so it seems like a crap shoot whether you can still get the report done online or not.

@T**
cheers will give it a shot and report back!

@Adam **********
if you're still within the window to apply, re-do it with all the information and see if it will go thru
Adam ***********
yes - on this occasion just completed the boxes with the red asterix - as I had seen suggested here yesterday. However on the previous occassions (looking at the system) its showing my first and middle name
Tod *********
@Adam **********
you left out the first name, middle name etc didn't you?
Adam ***********
Can I try to resubmit?
Adam ***********
"incomplete information" (in Thai)
Tod *********
@Adam **********
look at the BOTTOM of the rejected receipt there should be a "remarks" section and a notation in thai on why you were rejected
Adam ***********
@T**
mine was rejected overnight - no reason given just 'not approved' but presumably this was down to the TM30 as I have never had an issue before.

@T**
yeah will see. It's a pain in the ass, but also the law of the land so it is what it is.

well having it go to Pending and having it be approved are two different things, but good luck..

Like you said, worst case is you go do both of them in person and then can use the online system again.

The chat is that CW has already given up on requiring TM30 for 90 day reports at least...

I've never had a TM30 filed, my landlord didn't even know what it was, but my 90 day report was still approved. My extension is due in August so I know I need to get it done by then, but at least it's saved me an unnecessary trip this time round. Perhaps I just got lucky?
Tod *********
they haven't given up, it's just IF you have a TM30 filed and it's the same address that you're using they let the 90 day report go thru.

They will reject them if you have a TM30 filed with a different address..

This is off a rejected 90 day report

Wait, did OP go to CW or do it online?
James ********
Dominic Tay he did 90 day report online.
Marty *********
If people want to do a 90 day report without a TM30 then that is on them.

What more is there to be known?

I have reopened commenting as requested.
