How Can I Register My Car with an Expired Visa in Thailand During the General Amnesty?

Hi there,

would anyone be kind enough to send me a link to the formal publication of the general amnesty until 31/07/2020 issued by the Thai government?

I am trying to get a car registration done and the officer wouldn’t proceed because of an „expired visa“.

Any other ideas? You think there is a chance for a letter issued by the local immigration for the department of transport?

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking assistance with registering a car in Thailand while having an expired visa, which is causing issues at the registration office. They are looking for formal documentation regarding the general amnesty that was effective until July 31, 2020, and are also inquiring whether a letter from local immigration could assist in overcoming the registration hurdles.

actually the problem is in regards to an EXPIRED visa or entry stamp and going onto amnesty. :(

BUT be that as it may we're done, it's FAR from visa related ;)

You need more than a Visa to get a car in your name anyway, you need Tabien Baan or rental contract with all the owners tabien baan copies and their id copies etc

Is your visa expires before the a amnesty?

I don't think it will help you, as there is no official stay after your Admitted until or permitted up to date is passed.

But the first announcement until 30 April

The second announcement until 31 July:
