TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain your TM30 form for immigration, you or your landlord must file it at the local immigration office where you're residing. Hotels typically submit this for their guests upon check-in, while some landlords may do so for long-term tenants. If you haven't already done so, check with your landlord to see if they have filed it when you moved in. If you need it for an extension or any other immigration purposes, consider applying for the TM30 before canceling your current extension.

@Ja***
you got your extension based on employment some how without a TM30, and you've been doing 90 day reporting without having filed one,

I don't think you're actually going to need one.

When you go to the immigration office to cancel your current extension based on employment apply for the covid extension right after.

OR

As you said, go and apply for the TM30 Monday before you need to cancel your extension or apply for a covid extension just in case you DO need it

thanks Todd my work permit was only for 90 days from December until February 28 so I’ve never had to report just yet

Do u think I should just go on Monday and explain my situation to the immigration office and see what they say

take your g/f and the lease and go try to file a TM30 monday then and see what they say.

It's all you can do

You, or the place you're staying at goes and files a TM30 at the immigration office in the area where you're staying.

Hotels do it for people when they check in, many apartments also do it.

Talk to your land lord and see if they did it when you moved in.

I did not no I had to register when I left the ASQ hotel

Can I register now so I can apply for 60 day extension visa

take your G/F and the lease to the immigration office and see if you can file a TM30 without the landlord just based on the fact you live with your g/f and the lease is in her name

They might fine you for failing to have filed one earlier, but that's the risk you take..
