Can I activate my e-visa (Non-Immigrant O) after entering Thailand on a 30-day exemption?

Hi, I applied for my O visa while abroad and it was received via the e-visa system, but only after my flight into Thailand. I ended up entering on a normal 30 day exemption as I needed to take the flight at that time. Now I find myself with an e-visa (non immigrant O) still valid and in date. Does anyone know if this can be activated by immigration without leaving and re-entering the country with it? I think I already know the answer but I thought it was worth asking ๐Ÿ˜“ Thank you ๐Ÿ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the possibility of activating their e-visa (Non-Immigrant O) after entering Thailand on a 30-day exemption, despite the e-visa being valid. Responses indicated that activation of a visa obtained while abroad can only occur at the time of entry, implying that the user would need to leave and then re-enter Thailand to activate their e-visa.

You can only activate a visa that you received outside the country at the time of entering the country.
