TLDR : Answer Summary

Comments provide several suggestions, including online services like updoc.co.uk and ZoomDoc, as well as contacting specific doctors who may assist in obtaining the certificate.
iv asked you questions before you seem knowledgeable, all other comments seem to be contradictory, some people say 500,000 in a Thai bank ? Most say 800,000 , some say it doesn’t have to be in a Thai bank as long as you can prove it’s been in there 3 months?, I think I need more time to think where I’m going to stay 1 year, can I come over on the 60 day (at the moment) , or if it changes to 30 ? , then apply for for the 90 day visa ? , give me more time , where are you ? , think I’m taking you with me , money & beers
if you look to get a non OA over 50 retirement visa you can have money in any account it does not need to be in a thai account but does need to have an equivalent of 800k baht total or 65k baht monthly this is typically for 1 to 3 months (statements). If you apply for a non O over 50 retirement visa then to get the yearly extension you need 800k baht in a thai bank account for the 1st extension and can change this to the 65k baht monthly on your 2nd extension ( you can then take the 800k baht out of your account and just rely on the 65k baht monthly payments into your thai bank account). You can of course if married to a thai get a marriage visa where you only need 400k baht in your account or a lower monthly payment into your account. So each is a different visa for staying long term in thailand. At present you can get a 60 day visa exempt entry (rumours suggest it may go back to 30 days) and then get a 30 day extension when in thailand at a local immigration office giving you 90 days. You can also get a 60 day tourist visa through the evisa online system at your embassy and again can extend it 30 days when in thailand giving 90 days in total, these are both single entry. You can also apply for a 6 month multi entry tourist visa through the e visa system which is you get your last entry into thailand correction get substantially longer. So it depends what you want to do in thailand. You can start with a 60 day visa exempt and 30 day extension then switch to a non o visa inside thailand, only difficulty is opening a thai bank account as the banks only like long term visas I.e. like the non o or non oa. You could get an agent help you open an account only, you deposit your money 800k baht and away you go.
if you have a non o over 50 retirement visa and then the yearly extension you don't need to do any runs out of the country, you have permission to stay in the country for the whole year. You may be thinking of the DTV visa that is valid for 5 years with a 180 day stay per entry
no need for a thai bank account I.e. don't need to leave 800k baht in a thai bank account and you can get 2 years out of the visa, works if you go back to your home country and don't want to leave a lot of money tied up.in thailand
