Hi I need to know when I can apply for a Visa?

I have booked for a Visit to Thailand on Nov 6th to January 28th. (3 months) this year. 2024.

I am from the United States. Flower Mound. TX.

I am 65 years old.

Can I apply to Embassy Here in the US for 3 months? Or What Should I do? Do I have to first come to Thailand and Then Apply? With your help.

FYI: In the US you can apply for a multiple entry Tourist Visa valid for 6 months through the eVisa site Tod posted above, with the same rules per entry. Will give you more flexibility if you need it.

Note that the Visa is valid for use within 90 days of issue so don't apply too early

You can apply for a single entry tourist visa for $40 USD via the eVisa website online at the thai consulate that serves the state where you live.

That visa will get you stamped in for 60 days when you arrive and you can get one 30 day extension on that for 1900baht at the immigration office where you stay in thailand.
