That Houston Consulate is SUPER easy to deal with. Email them, tell them you need a single entry tourist visa and tell them your travel dates so you can coordinate showing up there to get the visa inked in. I've seen them do it while you wait..

IF your profile is to be believed :O and you are indeed IN Texas, you can use either thai consulate in Dallas OR Houston to get a single entry tourist visa. BOTH those consulates are easy to deal with (although they don't do mail in applications any more so you'd have to go there).

OR you could apply for a single entry tourist visa from the thai consulate in Los Angeles by mail by meeting the requirements and following the instructions on their website.

thanks I did look online btw and was on the consulate site I just honestly did not see how I needed to go through the process but thanks and yes I'm in Texas, I live in Austin but I'm actually flying out from Houston so that works.

OR

Seeing as you're not going to be IN Bali all that long why not apply for a 60 day single entry tourist visa from the thai consulate in YOUR country before you leave for your trip.

A single entry tourist visa is VALID for 90 days once it's issued <- meaning you have 90 days to ENTER thailand when you will get stamped in for 60 days

How about start by saying WHAT country you're actually IN and where in the country you are?

OR

Google is your friend, and you could google the thai consulate in your country and then GO to that website to look at the requirements to apply for a single entry tourist visa there

Get a tourist visa at the consulate in Bali before you leave, valid for 60 days and can be extended for 30 days at the immigration in Thailand.

Or fly in on a visa exempt stamp if you are from a country that allows it, and then extend it for 30 days at the immigration.

Cost 1900 baht for extension.
