TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around obtaining a 60-day Single-Entry Tourist Visa (SETV) from Bali, Indonesia. Key insights include the requirement of thorough documentation such as proof of funds, accommodation, return tickets, and specific application forms available at the Thai Consulate in Denpasar. Experiences shared emphasize the importance of submitting applications early, as processing can take 3 working days and the Consulate might have variable operating hours. Additionally, an email from the consulate outlines the necessary documents and application procedures.

ive gotten many visas from bali tourist and other. havent had any real issues other than they are pretty strict with having all paperwork including proof of funds , accommodation and proof of onward travel. they can and do sometimes take their sweet time.. so if ur there for a week...or 2... drop it off sooner than later... sometimes they just dont open with no reason.

you can email them too maybe just to be prepared as things change they take normally a week to respond .

I googled around and found this information that seems pretty recent

There is no Thai Embassy in Bali but you can get your Thai visa from Thai Consulate in Denpasar

Required Documents for Single-Entry Tourist Visa

-Visa application form - you will get it at the Consulate.

-Photographs: 2 recent photos, sized 3.5x4.5 cm.

-Passport with at least 6 months validity.

-A copy of bank statement showing a deposit of the amount not less than 700 USD (8,000,000 IDR) in the past 6 months (printed out bank account statement from internet banking system was in enough in our case).

-A copy of confirmed hotel reservation or another evidence of accommodation in Thailand.

-A copy of confirmed air tickets in and out of Thailand.

Application Fee: 560,000 IDR - It must be paid in Indonesian Rupiah, cash only (non-refundable)

- Processing of the visa takes 3 working days and there are no exceptions for any individual problem as there’s no extra charge and nothing can be done to make visa issuance faster.

well, it certainly wouldn't be my first choice of place to go to get a single entry tourist visa but it seems doable if you meet the criteria they require and can wait the 3 days it takes to get the visa issued.

Thanks tod, as always on hand. I actually found a similar thing. It was more if anyone had personal experiences I have a lot of 30 arrival stamps, amongst others, in my passport and don’t want to end up in the wrong consulate.
