im USA citizen now in bali, indonesia and plan to apply for a 60 day tourist visa in advance of arrival...

Can anyone point me to entry requirements? Or has everything changed and it’s not as complicated as before? Just rock up like usual with my VOA or Visa sticker and I’m good to go? Able to land in BKK and freely able to travel to other providences at my leasuire ? I guess I’m most curious about Covid entry policy

you might have noticed the name of the group is thai VISA advice <- which pretty much means we run a super limited scope as far as what we allow

Unfortunately the entry requirements (whether you come in on a visa exempt, a tourist visa or a Non-Immigrant visa) are not part of the scope of the group.

Best option you have is to contact the Thai Embassy in Jakarta for visa. You also need the Thailand pass.
