Hi. I am from the UK and on a tourist visa in BKK. I have just joined a school as a teacher and they are processing my Visa Non B. They say they have been advised that as part of this I have to ensure my degree certificate is proven to be real. Does anyone know where in BKK I would take this to get it checked / stamped and authorised? Before the school then gives me the paperwork to take to immigration?
Thanks ๐๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK citizen in Bangkok on a tourist visa is seeking guidance on how to authenticate their degree certificate for a Non-B visa as they are starting a teaching position. Several comments suggest that the verification process must be completed in the UK rather than Thailand, and that the UK Embassy does not provide degree certification in Bangkok. Users recommend checking the UK government website for procedural information and mention that seeking assistance from local expat communities or teaching groups in Bangkok might yield helpful insights.
is it ok to go into the one in BKK as someone told me I may have to send it back to UK to get checked? Also is it pre- booking like in UK or just walk in for BKK English embassy ?
