Hi, a friend has found a job as a teacher in Khon Kaen. His qualifications were stamped by the Thai embassy in South Africa and when he went to apply for a non B in Khon Kaen they told him that the stamp needed to be verified in Bangkok. Question is do you take the papers yourself, and if yes does anybody have an address?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A friend of the user has encountered an issue with verifying necessary documents for a Non-B visa application in Khon Kaen, as the Thai embassy in South Africa noted that the verification of his qualifications must be done in Bangkok. It's suggested that he must verify the signature from South Africa with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangkok. The user is seeking advice on whether he needs to personally take the documents to Bangkok and for the specific address of the ministry.

I think they want the signature from SA verified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangkok. Itโ€™s a double check. 1 the signature is genuine and 2 the fee paid has been remitted to Bangkok

Thanks. So he should take the documents to the Ministry. Do you know how long the process takes?
