For South Africans:

To get your Non-B for teaching, did you need only your degree authenticated, or your uni results as well?

TLDR : Answer Summary
South Africans looking to obtain a Non-B visa for teaching in Thailand need to authenticate both their degree and transcripts. However, the specific documentation required can vary between consulates and the Ministry of Education. It is advisable for applicants to contact the consulate directly where they plan to apply for guidance. Additionally, South African passport holders should be aware that visa approval can take up to 4 weeks at some consulates, such as in Kuala Lumpur.

, keep in mind there is a great difference between what a consulate will ask for as far as documentation and what the Ministry of Education will ask for when your school is getting the paperwork compiled for you to go out of the country and GET your 90 day Non-B visa.

I would have your school call the consulate you're going to for the visa and ask them,

Also keep in mind South African passport holders applying for Non-B visas at the thai consulate in Kuala Lumpur take 4 WEEKS to get the approval. Then you go back and get the visa.

I think I best do that just in case. How many copies of each?

What thai consulate would you be applying for this 90 day single entry Non-B visa? I think that requirement is consulate specific and not every consulate follows the same rule.

It would be a good thing (mostly for you :O ) to find out where they're taking you first so people can give you good advice for that particular consulate. .

I'm not sure. I live in Bangkok. Our school would take us to make the change but I'm not sure where they'd take us :/
