Hi guys!

So i'm leaving for Sweden the 19th of May, and my visa exempt (TR) expire the 13th of may, so need to do one last trip to immigration :).

I'm going to Nakhon Si Thammarat on Thursday until Saturday and was thinking maybe i can do it while i'm there. Otherwise i'll just do it this Wednesday or Monday next week as latest

I went to the immigration website of Nakhon Si Thammarat and couldn't find anything about extension and that's why i'm writing to the experts.

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to extend their visa exempt entry in Thailand before their impending flight to Sweden. They are planning a trip to Nakhon Si Thammarat and wish to take care of the visa extension there but couldn't find specific information about the process on the immigration office's website.

you shouldn't have a problem getting a 30 day extension on a 30 day visa exempt entry stamp for 1900baht at any immigration office in the country as long as you use an address in the area that is covered by that office.

, totally depends on what immigration office you're going to as far as what you need to give them. I'd take a copy of the blue house book listing of where you're staying and a copy of the i/d of the thai owner.

Good Luck..

I'm staying at my girlfriends familys home. Do they need to fill something out before i come? Like i've never done a proper TM.30 and have been lucky so far haha

face it, the worst that will happen is that you'll be fined 800baht for failure to file a TM.30 (although if you're staying at a hotel they would have filed online for you)..

I guess you'll find out how hard core they are about having a TM.30 form filed when you go there to apply for the extension. :O

Immigration in Phuket wants everybody to have a completed address registration. If you stay in a hotel and they do the on-line reporting and you have a print screen of this than it will be no problem in Phuket. If you stay in a private address it takes some extra documents to get this address registered within 24 hours after arriving.

So i'm staying with my girlfriends family those days, i'll simply just use their adress and i'm fine? I was thiking to do this one other time since i was going to Phuket, but then that was not suggested. Why was that?

IF you DID already get a 30 day extension, as James pointed out all you could get would be a 7 day 'extension denied' stamp to get out of thailand in a week for the same 1900baht a 30 day extension costs.

Have you already extended your last 30 day visa exempt entry? (30 days). I assume you have ...and had preplanned making another extension application...with the added 7 days denied extension to coincide with your flight plans.

And where are you based now ?
