60 day TR runs out on 22 April, want to extend for the extra 30 days, leaving on 16th may. Given Songkran and closure of immigration office in Nakhon Sawan for most of the week before. How much in advance can I go there to get the extension, think I read somewhere 3 weeks? The week after Songkran is probably leaving it too late and may well be somewhere else in Thailand that week anyway
Thanks for the info
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on how early they can request a visa extension for an upcoming 60-day tourist visa (TR) that expires on April 22, planning to leave on May 16. They are concerned about the Songkran holidays affecting the immigration office's availability and note conflicting information regarding how far in advance they can apply for the extension.
