Has anyone here actually gone to Immigration to extend their DTV stay for another 180 days?

Users share that while some successfully extended their DTV at immigration offices, many found the process cumbersome and recommended doing a 'border run' instead. It will be easier to have better answers if you were giving more details on your situation: type of DTV, city...
Immigration offices really don't like dealing with the DTV. Most of the small number of people who have extended previously have said they wouldn't go through it again and it's much easier to just do a border bounce
ok, so you need to go to your local immigration office and ask for the list of documents they require. You need to update your bank account to show the 500, 000 THB and any new contracts you have for work need updating.
