Hi my 5 year DTV softpower for health and i have a 12 month health  programme.  I do not want to do a border run (i am based in Phuket) i just want to go online or visit and immigration office and request the extension instead of using funds to do border hops... ... 180 days expires on 9 February but I need to stay until 12 March before returning the UK for approx. 4 months.  how do I go about extending my 180 days to cover the additional 4ish weeks as I understand that I need to apply to stay beyond the initial 180  days ?  Thank in advance.

If you want an extension its a complete update of ALL documents supplied during the initial application AND a minimum of 500k baht equivalent in your bank account for at least 30 days preceding your attempt of an extension.

You can just take a short trip nearby, return and get a fresh 180 day stamp.
