Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹ How many days after arriving in Thailand (without visa) can you apply for 30 days extention? And will the extension be added to your first 30 days or on the day you apply for it? (Austrian Passport holder). Thank you in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply for a 30-day extension soon after your arrival in Thailand, often as soon as the next day. The extension is added to your initial 30 days, thus prolonging your stay from the date you entered. It's also advised to check with your local Thai immigration office for specific application dates and be aware of the TM30 requirement when applying.

THESE are the common found requirements for the 30 days extension of stay at Thai immigration office for 1900 Thai baht. Be sure to have a TM30 on file with the Thai immigration office as many do require it.

YES and YES

ASK your Thai immigration office when you can apply for the 30 days extension of stay.

Most allow you to apply as soon as next day...

Others like Jomtien Immigration will accept the 30 day extension application during the final 7 days.

The 30 days are ADDED to your date which you were STAMPED in on arrival.
