Aim on applying for DTV (under Soft Powers option) in the near future, so just pulling together what I will need. Am aware that the official web-site list is a starting point but that individual embassies often have specific and/or additional requirements. So would really appreciate any insights, tips, experiences etc of applying through Jakarta e.g. is it evisa only or can still do personal visit, what are their requirements on bank balance and statements etc.
Thanks, in advance ...

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks information on applying for a DTV visa (under the Soft Powers option) through the Thai Embassy in Jakarta. It highlights the importance of understanding both the official requirements and any additional specifications from the embassy. Commenters suggest checking the embassy's website for the most accurate information, noting that the Jakarta embassy offers e-visas only, with no walk-in applications permitted. They also recommend taking screenshots of the application process for safety and mention that past inquiries regarding Jakarta have been discussed in the group.
Read the website of the Thai Embassy you will apply at ( preferable in your home country, so don’t have to spend money staying in a 3 country, but can wait in the comfort of your home )
You can start a application, and stop at any point, if you need to investigate further or get documentaion, and then restart from the point you stopped at ( make screenshots for extra safety)
