What should I do if I need to provide tax returns for a DTV visa application but haven't been a tax resident for over 5 years?

Hi guys, I'm an Irish citizen who is applying for the DTV visa through the London embassy (Thailand don't have an embassy in Ireland). I submitted my application yesterday and got a request today for additional documents: tax returns. However, I haven't been tax resident in my country for over 5 years. What can I do?

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Irish citizen applying for a DTV visa through the London embassy is facing a request for tax returns. Since they have not been a tax resident for over 5 years, they seek advice on how to proceed. Suggestions from the community include submitting a letter explaining their non-resident tax status and providing tax documentation from wherever they have been paying taxes.

not everyone is required to pay taxes somewhere. The uk for example you don't have to be paying taxes to anther country to become a non tax resident, then just make sure you don't make yourself resident in another country like spending less than 180 days in Thailand for example
