If i apply for my Non-O in the UK, do i have to travel to Thailand from the UK?
I would like to do 2 or 3 weeks in Cambodia first.
So, can i come into Thailand from Cambodia on my UK issued Non-O?
Or, do i travel to Cambodia first and apply from there?
Answer summary
You can apply for your Non-O visa in the UK and subsequently travel to Cambodia before entering Thailand. Your Non-O visa will be valid for 90 days from the issue date, allowing you to enter Thailand from Cambodia during this period. It's advisable to plan your entry carefully if you intend to travel to Cambodia through a Thai airport to avoid prematurely using your single-entry visa.

How will you get to Cambodia? If travelling through a Thai airport be careful not to use your single entry on arrival in Thailand. It would be better to use a different route to Cambodia perhaps direct, via Singapore or by using a Chinese airline.
The web application for a non-O visa based on age is easy to navigate and approval is quick so don't do it too far in advance. If you want to stay longer than the original 90 days it can be extended at your local immigration office.
