I have submitted my application to Royal Thai Embassy to london on Friday, for a METV, and paid my £150, and have had confirmation. What is the procedure now, and how will I find out if there is a problem with it ?
Answer summary
After submitting your METV application to the Royal Thai Embassy in London and paying the associated fee, you will need to wait for processing. During this time, ensure you regularly check your email, including the spam folder, for any requests for additional documentation or updates on your application status. It's advised to log into the embassy's application system to track the progress. Approval notifications are typically sent from thaievisa@mfa.go.th and include the e-visa, which you should print and keep for immigration checks. Processing times can vary, so be prepared for delays.

Check your email, especially the spam folder to see if they have emailed you for additional documentation, and log into the system periodically to check the status on the system and see how the application is progressing.
If you've applied well in advance don't be surprised if it takes a while. I was asked for extra documents last time I applied and that request came from the same address that Chris Gray posted.
detailing the approval and with the e-visa attached. simply print off a couple of copies of the visa and keep with you to present to the immigration officer on arrival/re-entry.
