How can I apply for a DTV in Thailand with limited bank account history?

Hello all, I'm german and I want to apply for a DTV.

Im in thailand right now on a 60 day stamp which runs out 2nd of January. Im planning to leave to another country then to apply for the DTV.

Im a freelancer for many years and work for 2 clients in Germany in the online marketing sector. My company is an american LLC.

The only issue I have is that I only have the 500k THB in my private account for a couple of days now. I had it in my business account (which is run under my company name, not my private name) from the beginning of this month, but not prior to that.

Is there any chance I can still apply for the DTV in January somewhere?

Thank so much ♥️

TLDR : Answer Summary
A German expat currently in Thailand with a 60-day visa is seeking advice on applying for a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) while meeting the financial requirements. They have recently transferred 500,000 THB to their private account but are concerned about whether the limited time frame of these funds will affect their application. Suggestions from the community include demonstrating financial history through client transactions, providing residency proof from Germany, and considering alternative application locations like Hanoi or Vientiane, where the requirements may be more lenient.

In Hanoi, I submitted my personal account and provided evidence showing payments coming into my business account.

I also provided a letter which one part was explaining the financial evidence provided, so they could understand clearly and make it easy for them to assess.

In result I was approved, now on my 2nd year. I hope this helps. Good luck

Anonymous participant 572 seconding Hanoi. I only added the remaining £1000 or so of funds in the final days before arriving. No issues, I work for one German client and am from the UK and approved in 5 business days! Happy to help

You should just be able to show that you have Wohnsitz in Germany, I showed car insurance and electricity bill and home bank account. Also a letter from the US is helpful to you you work for them, then it should be easy.

What embassy asked you for proof? A german embassy?

If the Person runs an LLC, he or she probably does not have a „Wohnsitz“ in Germany anymore but has no Wohnsitz anywhere.
