Hello,

need some urgent help. I am in the immigration.

TR Visa valid 18 May, then Amnesty.

Married to Thai Wife since 09.09.2020.

Want to apply 60 day family visit. They only want to give this extension from 19thMay. Which sounds weird and not helping in my situation.

Is any official document to show them, that this extension should start from 27thSeptember?

Thanks

Jens

TLDR : Answer Summary
Jens seeks urgent assistance regarding his visa situation in Thailand. He is on a TR visa expiring on May 18 and is currently under amnesty due to his marriage to a Thai citizen. He wishes to apply for a 60-day family visit extension, but the immigration office is only willing to grant this extension starting from May 19, which is not helpful for him. Community members suggest showing official documents to clarify the extension process and inquire about Jens's situation further. Ultimately, Jens received the 60-day extension from September 27 to November 25 after discussions with the immigration office, aided by his wife.

Thank so much everybody.

I got 60days from 27th Sept to 25thNov reason is visiting wife.

My wife did help me to talk. The Office here didn't have this case here and wasn't sure. So finally she could talk to supervisor. The SV called Bangkok and other provinces. They confirmed the process.

Even using their flawed logic you DID have a VISA (as you entered on a tourist visa) AND you are applying for a 60 day visit thai family extension that you CAN apply for on a tourist visa :(

@Benjamin *****
already did. They are saing this is only for VISA extention. I am on amnesty and have no Visa to extend.
Benjamin ******
Did you ask them for an extension of stay based on visiting Thai family? And was your wife with you? And are you legally married with the rose border paper?
