US citizen married to a Thai.

How do I get this 1 year multi entry visa for visiting family from the Consulate in Chicago? The evisa website only lists single entry when I select non-immigrant and to stay with thai family (over 60 days) with no mention of duration.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A US citizen married to a Thai national is inquiring about obtaining a 1-year multi-entry visa to visit family in Thailand from the Consulate in Chicago. Comments indicate that currently, the eVisa system only offers a single-entry Non-O visa for Thai family members with a validity of 90 days. Users suggest contacting the Thai consulate directly, as not all consulates handle multiple-entry cases and the rules may differ by location.

The London site is the same, only a single entry visa is available.

Don't think you can get a multi entry any longer. You get a 90 day visa which you can then extend by 12 months inside Thailand assuming you meet the requirements

thanks. We never registered our marriage with a consulate in the US not amphur in Thailand so I'm kind of looking for a workaround while I go through that process.

not so sure there is a workaround without having a certified marriage certificate. Unless you are over 50 and could get a non-o based on that?

No, you cannot apply for multiple entry Non-O based on Thai family on eVisa system with the standard process. eVisa system itself (not by each embassy/consulate) wouldn't give you the multiple-entry option for it anymore (since the system update last October). Only single entry Non-O visa based on Thai family, visa validity is 90 days and you will be stamped in for 90 days on entry to Thailand during that visa validity period for once.

All you can do is contact the Thai consulate in Chicago to see if they handle multiple entry Non-O visas case by case. Not all embassies/consulates do this though.
