How do I apply for a Certificate of Entry (COE) as a Thai Elite member using Visa Exemption while in the USA?

My question is about COE. I am a Thai Elite member still in USA trying to apply for a COE using the Visa Exemption scheme. The first time I tried to apply online I selected “Thai Elite member” in the “Type of permitted persons”. I was denied, then found out I should have selected “Tourist Medium term-visa exemption”. I tried to edit and resubmit, but I cannot seem to figure out how to change anything on that first screen. Is easy to change any of the info on the second screen. I want to get my visa affixed in Bangkok, but now I am thinking I should just fly to DC and get visa affixed there if I can not figure out how to change the COE application. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this situation?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user in the USA, who is a Thai Elite member, seeks help with applying for a Certificate of Entry (COE) under the Visa Exemption scheme. They initially selected the wrong option while applying online and are unsure how to correct their application. Comments suggest confirming the validity of the elite visa, opting for the visa exemption for a simpler process, and recommending contacting Thai Elite for guidance on their options.

Best way is to contact Thai Elite and they will let you know your options.

From what I read...

You have paid for a Thai Elite Visa...but do not yet have the visa sticker in your passport.

Suggest you keep it simple ..

Enter Thailand visa exempt...that gives you 45+30=75 days to contact Thai Elite and arrange to meet them at the BKK airport to get the Elite Visa sticker placed into your passport.

And by doing so..

You will only need three months insurance to enter...vs a full year insurance if you enter on the Thai Elite Visa...as you are stamped in for one full year.

Yes that is what I want to do, but what I need to know is how to edit the "Type of Permitted Persons" option on my COE application. I incorrectly selected "Elite visa member", which is correct if you want visa affixed in home country. I have not figured out how to change it, and you cannot just delete the application and start over. Just wondering if anyone else has made this stupid mistake besides me.

any ideas re the app process ?

@James *******
you need to email the embassy and explain to them that you need to change the COE application to Visa Exempt. Then as said you arrange to meet the Elite people for the sticker after quaratine.

@James *******
now during Covid there is no Thai Elite staff meeting you when arriving from abroad.

It would be a meeting in Thai Elite hq after quarantine is finished

Yes

... Thank You...

that is what I am saying...

After ASQ arrange to meet Thai Elite Staff at Thai Immigration BKK to affix the sticker in passport.
