TLDR : Answer Summary
The visa amnesty currently does not apply to yearly extensions of stay, including those based on marriage or retirement. Individuals must apply for a new extension when their current one lapses.

I'm not going to let this become a "catch all" question thread. If you have a question about YOUR OWN situation, make your own post.

I'm assuming ed visa is exempt until end of July as you have to do a extension every 90 days as well as 90 day report?

that would be a FALSE assumption, :O long term extensions are NOT part of this and if you have an ED visa extension that needs to get done, get the documents from your school and go do it just like normal.

Only the 90 day report exemption would affect you

if my ME non o based on marriage to a Thai national is due for a border bounce on the 7th of June, do I apply for the 2 month extension or am I granted entry till 31st of July?
Tod *********
you can apply for a 60 day visit thai family extension OR you would be covered under the blanket amnesty. Personally I'd get the 60 day visit family extension but that's just me..

IF you are talking about yearly extensions of stays <- that you apply for every year at the immigration office the answer is NO, you go when your current extension runs out and apply for a new one like normal

- if my yearly extension runs out mid-July, I just season my 400k in the bank for two months and turn up with all the paperwork, photos etc like usual?
