TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, Amy, is inquiring about the applicability of the current visa amnesty to her situation where she holds a visa exemption stamp that expired on March 30, but she extended it for 30 days, expiring on April 29. Commenters confirm that she is covered by the amnesty until July 31, with no need to visit Thai Immigration.

Watch for the publishing of this amnesty program in the Royal Gazette soon.

Good Luck All..

Why did you refer to a post about a 1 year Extension of Stay in Bangkok? it seems you are in Hat Yai and you 're a short time visitor as a tourist?
Robert *******
Amy Phay I do not see it as mistake, but I could not make a connection between an application of staying 1 year longer in Thailand and a person who makes a short time visit.

But thanks and stay healthy.

You will be covered until July 31. No need to go to Thai Immigration.
