Question: Does the visa amnesty apply to my extension of stay visiting my wife.

I came into the country in January on a single Non-O. I was unable to leave the country in April, so obtained an extra 60 days for visiting my wife, which has me here until 14 June. Does the visa amnesty cover me in my situation? I'm not planning on applying for the 12 month extension, so wanted to check that I'm OK until the borders open.

IF the borders don't open up before your current extension expires (June 14th) you will indeed be covered on the blanket amnesty plan until the 31st of July.

Seeing as you're good until the 14th of June about all you can do right now is sit tight and keep an eye on the news and watch for the borders and airspace opening up :)
