Hi everyone! Are you aware whether the Thai embassy/consulate have actually contacted the employer or company to verify the employment contract and other work documents? Just want to prepare in case I need to give my boss or HR a heads up about possible contact. I’ll apply from Frankfurt, Germany. Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among users is that the Thai embassy or consulate generally does not contact employers to verify employment contracts for visa applications. While there may be random checks, it is not common practice for the embassy to investigate every individual applicant's employment history. It's suggested that applicants can inform their employers proactively about the possibility, but many have reported that their employers were not contacted.

They will not contact every applicants' employer. Maybe random checks are done, but the embassy will not have the time or staff to verify in full each application.

Or you can give a heads-up right away 😉 If your employer is fully aware, it shouldn't be an issue.

They didn't contact any of my employers. Approved in Jakarta.
