Can anyone tell me the easiest place to apply for a non-o visa (to be a dependent of a foreigner with a non-B visa) outside of Thailand?
We've tried applying here but the school apparently cannot get some of the documents so are suggesting we apply from outside of the country.
Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion focuses on the challenges of applying for a non-O visa as a dependent of a foreigner with a non-B visa from within Thailand, specifically due to missing documents required by the employer. Suggestions include applying from Singapore or Hong Kong, with particular praise for the streamlined process available through the Thai Consulate in Singapore.

It is entirely plausible that the inability or unwillingness of the employer to provide info about items 10 and 11 is that the employer is not in compliance with payments or numbers of Thai employees reported or both.
I read that Tod but to me it was not clear in the phraseology used - just trying to clarify "to be" means in the future - and both could be in the future
's advice and apply at the thai consulate in Singapore. Seeing as you scan and submit all the documentation before you get the approval from them you can do it from thailand and then when you're approved fly down and get the visa.
Benefit of Singapore is that you can use their website for application on forehand. If approved than go to Embassy, submit papers and pick up next day. At least you know if all the papers are in place:
That's what I thought... apparently the owner of the school is saying it's not possible to get them so the admin are suggesting it's easier to apply from outside of the country.
