TLDR : Answer Summary
An Indonesian passport holder can visit Thailand under the visa exemption scheme for 30 days upon arrival. Alternatively, he can apply for a tourist visa before arrival, which allows a 60-day stay, with both options permitting a 30-day extension for 1,900 baht. Additionally, he must fulfill the ThailandPass requirements, including proof of accommodation, flights, and insurance.

All persons entering must fulfil the requirements for the ThailandPass system to gain entry to Thailand. That includes paid flights, accommodation and insurance.

As an Indonesian passport holder he may visit under the visa exemption scheme giving him 30 days on arrival. If he buys a tourist visa prior to coming he can get 60 days on arrival. Either option allows one extension of 30 days in country for 1,900 baht.
