I’m currently in Thailand on a DTV visa and staying in Chiang Mai.
I’m planning to take regular international trips (around 1–2 weeks each) and then return to Thailand.

It's multiple entry visa. That's what's it's for. Answered many times , search group first before same repeated question

Read my post on this page and understand your visa mate. Im based in Chiang Mai and the IOs at the airport here are great. No issues with over a dozen trips in and out last year including a 6 hour beer run to Singapore. You're good to go
