Do you need an onward or return ticket when traveling to Thailand with a DTV?

If you're granted a DTV, do you still need to present an onward or return ticket at the airline gate at the airport you're departing from when flying to Thailand? I did a search of this group and only found one or two posts discussing this, and I'd like a little more confirmation. Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When traveling to Thailand with a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa), experiences shared by users indicate that an onward or return ticket is generally not required at the airline gate. Many travelers reported that neither the airlines nor Thai immigration requested proof of an onward ticket during their entry. However, there may be exceptions depending on the airline's policies and the specific circumstances, so it's advisable to be prepared to explain your situation if necessary.

I’m headed to Thailand now and the airline in America had a self-check-in kiosk and it wouldn’t let me select a date within 6 months lol… I just selected a date in 2 weeks, instead of having to wait in line to explain my situation to an employee. I reckon in any case you could just show someone your visa.

I was asked by Qatar Airways at Manchester in September and they were fine when I said I had a 5 year visa so didn't have one yet.
