Hello

I have a question about extending my non-immigrant visa.

I have a 90-day visa to visit family, can I extend it by 60 days at the Buriram immigration office, for example?

I am now with my wife visiting family in Satuek and we would like to stay longer in Thailand.

I heard somewhere if you are married to a Thai woman that you could extend 60 days to 150 days once, if that is possible, which documents should I show/submit?

I hope I get the answers here that I haven't been able to find anywhere .

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about extending their non-immigrant visa, specifically a 90-day visa for visiting family, by an additional 60 days at the Buriram immigration office. They mentioned being married to a Thai citizen and asked about the possibility and documentation required for this extension. According to community replies, it is indeed possible to get a 60-day extension for family visits, but the user should verify the exact documents required at the specific immigration office, as well as the fees involved.

you can indeed get a 60 day 'visit thai family' extension. I would go to one of the two buriram immigration offices well before you need to get the 60 day extension added on to find out what documents that specific location requires.

The extension will be 1900baht, it may NOT be added to your current 90 day stamp (ask them when you go) some offices start that extension the date you apply for it so if you went early you'd lose the days you have left on your current stamp
