Hi everyone. I went to immigration office in Phuket yesterday for some informations. I asked for family purpose 60 day extension which lady said it's easy to obtain. I can come alone with passport copy, copy of birth certificate and copy of blue house book where the baby is registered.
Also the lady at the information desk said that after that I can not get 1 year extension based on having a thai child, because I entered Kingdom on a Non-b visa before going on amnesty.
Did anybody has similar situation and was able to get a 1 year extension after visiting family extension?
Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster inquired about obtaining a 60-day extension for family purposes after a visit to the immigration office in Phuket. They learned that while the extension is possible with necessary documents, a 1-year extension based on having a Thai child might not be available to them due to their entry on a Non-B visa and subsequent switch to amnesty. A commenter confirmed this, suggesting the family extension is a valid option but indicating the challenges for a 1-year extension due to their visa history.

Seeing as you did enter on a Non-B visa (which was based on employment) and you never extended that at all (just went onto amnesty) she is correct. You can't get an extension based on one reason (raising half thai children) from a visa you got based on another reason (employment).
I'd say take the 60 day visit thai family extension if they offer it because
I do not believe you can get either a year extension OR a new Non-O visa inside the country from the entry you were on before you went to amnesty :(
