TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 report must still be filed even if you are residing in your own home with a yellow book. However, current regulations allow for simplified reporting; you only need to file a new TM30 when returning to Thailand from abroad, rather than every time you return home.

Yes. Most offices now only require a new filing if you travel abroad and come back. However there is no “history” used. So if for example you had forgot to do it within 24 hours of arriving at your home, there is nothing stopping you from staying in a hotel for a night and filing a new report when you get back home. All they require is proof of filing the report.

Yep, but now you're required to report only once when you come back from abroad.
