Is it necessary to file my 90-day report if I'm leaving Thailand shortly after the due date?

Hi all,

My 90 day report is due on 8th of March but I’m leaving the country on the 11th. I tried reporting online but was sent around in circles. Would it be necessary to report, considering I’m leaving three days after the report date? Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether they need to file their 90-day report due on March 8th, considering they are leaving Thailand on March 11th. A commenter advises that it is necessary to report, as the requirement to report every 90 days is based on the duration of stay and not affected by the timing of departure.

Yes you should report, because you have been in country for 90 days, the grace period is for making a report, not missing one. when you come back an eagle eyed officer may well fine you 2000 baht for a missed report.
