Do my parents need to transfer their retirement visa to their new EU passports, or can they travel with both?
My parents received new EU passports, however, their retirement visa is in the old one- which is still valid, just has no more pages. Would anyone advise, if they need to go to immigration to a fix it into new passport or is it ok to travel in and out of country with both passports?
Thank you
Thank you
Answer summary
The user inquired whether their parents, who recently received new EU passports, need to transfer their retirement visa from an old passport that no longer has pages. Responses suggested two main options: transferring the visa to the new passports, which can be done easily at local immigration, or traveling with both passports, as it’s typically only possible to extend a stay rather than transfer a visa.

Travel with both passports, you can't transfer a visa only an extention of stay

Transfer it to new passports, very easy in your local immigration.
