do the immigrations inside the country where you would do a 90 day report check for course attendance on dtv soft power?
Answer summary
In Thailand, immigration authorities can conduct random checks for visa compliance, including checks for course attendance related to the DTV visa. While there is no explicit rule regarding ongoing activity for the DTV visa, previous experiences with other visa types suggest that immigration may inquire about ongoing activities when checking immigration statuses. Therefore, while formal checks are not usually tied to the 90-day report itself, immigration has the authority to perform checks at any time.

The Royal Thai POLICE Immigration Bureau are allowed to perfrom checks when ever they want.
They can stop you and ask questions while sitting in McDonalds, or interrupt your English Teaching session while sipping a coffee at the local coffee shop.
Immigration also drives around in a nice car with a camera on top, facial recognition, as you left your picture behind on entry.
The reason is for tourist safety, as that sounds nice.
Is the police in your country allowed to check on people ?
No not when doing your 90-day report. However, they don’t need to wait you to report to perform random checks. This is already done for other visas like the ED (attendance checks). Whether it will apply to the DTV is just a guess. Some say there’s no rule that you must keep an ongoing activity, but there’s no rule saying you don’t have to either. Also, immigration usually expects you to prove an ongoing activity if you want to extend in Thailand. Time will tell.
