Anyone got APEC business card (which you can go through the fast track in immigration) and you use the DTV to enter Thailand? My APEC card country list includes Thailand, will the officer say anything?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The APEC card allows for fast track immigration in Thailand, regardless of the visa used, including the DTV visa. While it can be shown to security for access to the special lane, it's recommended to present both the APEC card and the DTV visa to the immigration officer, if necessary. There may be questions regarding the purpose of entry, as the APEC card typically indicates a business visit. However, experiences suggest that many users do not present the card to immigration, only to security for streamlined access.

Fast track is not a big deal anyone can do it just pay. It doesn't make it quicker unless you have carry on

When I was on non-b ,I never showed my APEC card to immigration officer, only the person who let me into the line.

I assume it will be same for DTV. I.e. I *think* you can still use it for fast track.

All APEC cardholders can apply for a DTV visa if they are not doing business in Thailand.

Normally, an APEC card indicates that you are travelling to Thailand to conduct business, as issued by your country's Ministry of International Trade.

As a result, the fast track counter will ask if you are doing business or not. Remember that DTV visas are not intended for business purposes.

I have a Canadian APEC card which does not come with any visa privileges because Canadian is only a provisional member of APEC. My card doesn't have any countries written on the back. I can only use it for fast track immigration. It works for fast track immigration at all airports in Thailand and can be used with any visa or visa exempt entry.

You should have no problem to use your DTV to enter while using your APEC card for fast track. You normally show the card to a security guard to get in the special lane anyway, not to the immigration officer (unless you are using the card as your visa to enter Thailand). If you do present your APEC card to the immigration officer then make sure you also present your DTV visa and make it clear you are using it.

You can only enter via one “visa”, so use either APEX card or DTV.

If you’re asking if you can use the shorter APEX card queue and presenting the DTV, it depends on the individual officer at the immigration counter.
