Do I still need to report to immigration every 3 months if I'm traveling frequently on my retirement visa?

Quick question I think. I’m currently in the 2nd year of my retirement visa, renewed in July 2022. For the first year I was mainly staying in Thailand but since June I travel out of Thailand at least once a month now that we can travel more easily again. My question is do I still need to present myself at the immigration Dept at Chaeng Whattana every 3 months (I was led to believe that this is required if permanently staying in Thailand) or does the stamp in my passport when I return to Thailand each month take the place of such a visit and no need to present myself at CW?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement for a 90-day immigration report in Thailand applies if you have stayed in the country for 90 consecutive days. Since you are traveling in and out of Thailand and not accumulating 90 days within the country, you are not required to submit the 90-day report. However, you should be aware of the online reporting system that might send reminders regardless of your actual status.

A 90 day report is only done after 90 consecutive days within Thailand. If you are coming and going and not accruing 90 days inside the country, then the 90 day report won't be relevant to you.

Do note that the new 90 day online system sends out e-mail reminders. This system is not connected to any other system and does not know about you, so it will just send an e-mail 90 days after the last report regardless of if you are even inside Thailand or not.
