Hi, I am aware the 90 days report on line is often down but if ever it gets easier one day what happens if I leave Thailand and go back again ? I know the first report must be done in person but is this obligation once and for all or does it mean it has to be done at immigration office every time I enter the country again ? Thanks for any info.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 90-day reporting requirement in Thailand must be completed in person for the first report. If you leave and re-enter Thailand, the 90-day reporting obligation effectively starts over, regardless of any visa extensions you may have. If you return with a new visa, the reporting requirements reset. Some discussions suggest that future regulations may require in-person reporting for all 90-day reports, but this can vary, so it's important to stay updated on current immigration policies.

Last time i did my 90-day report at CW, they told me in future, everyone will need to report physically e.g. in person. Has that changed back again to online being allowed? Hard to keep up with the regs these days.

If you neednt to extend your visa, you can choose not to report, but if you need to extend your visa next year, you will be fined by the immigration officer.

Actually every time you leave the country, and return your 90 day report starts over from the beginning, just like the first time, no matter what visa extension you have.

Yes, I knew this, I was wondering if I had to go to the immigration office on each return or once and for all

each return, just like the first time.

Per your visa or extension. If you leave the country and come back with a new visa, the process starts over again. After your first yearly extension you shouldn't have to come in person again if you keep that extension active.

If you are on an elite Visa suggest you check with the Elite team. I believe they will do 90 day reporting on your behalf.

You don't need to do the 90 day reports then if you're in Phuket, Bangkok, or chiang mai. The elite people do the for you, you just need to give them your passport.
