I need some advice. My visa expires the 18th. I know i can get the extra 7 days, taking me to the 15th. The only problem is the earliest flight i can get to Yangon is on the 26th. What can I do? Explain at immigration and hope for grace?

i plan to go to immigration on Wednesday. Will then know. I hope they have grace. Someone told me though if the first 2 days of overstay is on a weekend it doesn't count. If i only get the 7 days to get out, then my first day will be a Saturday. Will let you know after my visit.

hey there, just want to give you quick update. I just got my visa done and Extended until departure date. But you need to show the air ticket and embassy letter to do that. Good luck

Have you considered applying for a Covid visa? It will initially get you 2 weeks and you can extend it for another 6 weeks.
