Do you have to enter a proposed entry date into the application because I will be applying for mine and if/when it's approved I'll then be apply for my Wife/Spouse DTV then we will both make plans for a date to fly in (from Australia).

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Thai visa, it is not strictly necessary to specify an exact entry date. While one user noted that they included their flight ticket with a specific date, others reported success by simply indicating a general timeframe such as 'around October' or 'to be decided.' Additionally, applicants can start and stop the E-visa application at any time, making it easier to test the necessary information before finalizing the application.

You can start and stop the E-visa application at any point, so make a test and see the excact informations you need to enter.

Eventhough you can resume at the point where you left, I make screen prints before going to the next page, especialy the very important personal / passport part, that have to be excactly like the passport, or the application will be rejected and the fee lost.

I did. And I also uploaded my flight ticket showing that very same date. But I've heard of other people just writing like "Around October", "To be decided", etc. and they also got their visas approved.
